Antenatal HypnoBirthing Classes in Surrey
What is HypnoBirthing?
HypnoBirthing is a childbirth method that focuses on preparing parents for a gentle birth. HypnoBirthing promotes a calm, peaceful and natural pregnancy, birth and bonding experience for families.
Unlike other childbirth methods that teach you how to cope with and manage pain, HypnoBirthing™ is based on the premise that childbirth does not necessarily need to be painful, if the mother is well prepared and relaxed. More comfortable birthing is simply and easily achieved with HypnoBirthing™. HypnoBirthing™ parents learn deep abdominal breathing and total relaxation, enabling the laboring mother to work in harmony with her body and her baby, just as nature intended. This allows her to achieve a shorter and more comfortable labor for herself and baby.
This programme is dedicated to giving women, and their birth partners, practical skills to assist in labour and birth. Deep relaxation techniques, visualisation and breathing are taught during pregnancy. The course empowers women to to feel prepared, in control, calm and confident, assisting in building women confidence. allowing them to turn to their perfectly designed bodies, helps them to build a relationship with their unborn babies.
Statistically 70% of HypnoBirthing™ mothers require no pain relief. As long as an expectant mother is having a normal birth, is confident and free from fear, birth need not be painful. HypnoBirthing™ mothers are fully aware and totally engaged in the experience. In HypnoBirthing™ we build confidence in the body's natural ability to birth gently and easily.
- Hypnosis is a natural state of inner focused awareness.
- The application of hypnosis in birth can alter ones experience of expected pain, to a comfortable, easy and empowering experience.
- An expectant mother will as a result look forward to what can be an amazingly relaxed and elating experience.
- Fear releases adrenaline that slows, and can ultimately halt the progress of birth.
- Through HypnoBirthing™, fear can be totally eliminated.
- This course will promote your body to function at its optimal level with high levels of endorphins that inhibit the production of adrenaline and stress hormones.
